Executive Director:

Edith Yoder has been the Executive Director of Bridge of Hope since September, 1990. "It has been a joy to see God at work through mentors from various Christian churches," she says. "Over and over, we see that the connection with a mentoring group from a local church makes the difference for homeless, single mothers and their families."
Yoder authored "The Mentor's Resource Guide," a training tool which helps equip caring Christians for an effective ministry of friendship to homeless families. She also edited "Amazing Hope," a book which chronicles Bridge of Hope's founding and first ten years and shares some of the stories of mentors and participants. During her tenure, Bridge of Hope's privately-funded ministry has tripled in size.
Yoder holds a Master's degree in Adult and Organizational Development from Temple University, Philadelphia, PA, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Eastern Mennonite University, Harrisonburg, VA. She also studied in the Peace Studies Program at Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland.
